From humble beginnings, the DiGeronimo family built a reputation for successfully completing challenging excavation projects for numerous Cleveland landmarks. As the company grew, so did the need to expand its service offerings which included demolition and associated services.
In 1988, Independence Demolition was founded and now performs demolition and associated services across the United States. We continue to adhere to the core values instilled by our founders, Sam, Don, and Mary DiGeronimo.
Our field management team is one of the strongest in the industry. On average, our superintendents have worked with the company for more than 15 years. We combine the experience and tradition of our veterans with the fresh perspective of our new estimators, project engineers, and tradesmen.
To ensure a tradition of quality construction in our future workforce, we have a robust co-op/intern program. Our program draws new construction professionals from colleges and universities across the country. We place four to six interns side by side with our senior estimators and project managers to gain valuable work experience.
