FMC Pocatello Remediation

This project was located on the FMC Corporation site in Powers County, Idaho that was formerly the home of the world’s largest elemental phosphorus plant. Now the site of a massive Superfund remediation project, Independence Demolition teamed with CB&I, the construction manager for the site, for this environmentally sensitive and highly scrutinized demolition project.

The project specifically included demolition of a large rail car dumper formerly used to unload raw phosphate ore and a concrete box culvert. All scrap, concrete processing and job cleanup included.
